Dr Cameron is currently Head of Paediatric Dentistry,
Orthodontics and Special Care Dentistry at Westmead
Hospital in Sydney. He is Head of Discipline, Paediatric
Dentistry at the University of Sydney and also holds
a teaching appointment at the University of Adelaide.
His main areas of interest are craniofacial biology
and the management of children with dental anomalies.

A/Prof Hall graduated in from the University of Melbourne
with Honours in 1956. He undertook postgraduate training
in Paediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Eastman
Dental Hospital and Royal College of Surgeons of England,
London 1959-60. He received a Master of Dental Science
in 1962 from the University of Melbourne, he was an
Inaugural Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of
Dental Surgeons in 1966 and elected a Fellow of the
International College of Dentists in 1988. He was formerly
Director of Dentistry, Royal Children's Hospital (RCH)
Melbourne, Australia 1960-1998. He is currently Senior
Dental Surgeon RCH (1999-present). and Principal Fellow
(Associate Professor) University of Melbourne (university
staff 1958- present). He has been a Visiting Professor
at Universities of Sydney, Australia; Strasbourg, France;
Hong Kong.
Dr Hall's publications include one textbook Paediatric
Oral Medicine and Pathology, Chapman and Hall 1994,
seven book chapters and over 40 papers in refereed journals.
His main clinical interests are in paediatric oral surgery
and oral medicine and syndrome diagnosis and his research
interests cover tooth morphogenesis adn developmental
defects of enamel and dentine.
He was President of the International Association of
Paediatric Dentistry-IAPD (formerly IADC) from 1985-87,
Chairman of Organizing Committee gth Congress of IADC
(IAPD) 1983 and Foundation President Victorian Society
of Paediatric Dentistry 1972; Australian and New Zealand
Society of Paediatric Dentistry 1973-7 and the Australasian
Academy of Paediatric Dentistry 1989-1995. He has been
elected an Honorary Members of all these organizations
as well as the Hellenic Society of Dentistry for Children.
In 1996 Roger Hall was awarded the Medal of the Order
of Australia for services to Paediatric Dentistry
